tNGE Trial 144

It's officially intramural softball season. Really that just means it's the season of being reminded every week how far my athletic career has fallen in the last couple of years.

Playing sports with a bunch of engineers usually isn't a recipe for success, so the last couple years have been tough record-wise. This year I moved to the defending champs where I can throw the ball hard to first base when I make a play in the hole at shortstop, so that's fun.

Howdy. My name is Nick. I am on a mission to be the man my dog thinks I am and leave the world better than I found it. There's only one problem - nobody knows all the answers... and nobody ever will. But, we can all do our best to figure them out along the way. My hope in sharing my journey is to accelerate learning for us all so we can make the most of the precious time we have on this Earth.

I grew up in Central Illinois with my now wife surrounded by a loving family and a role model brother. My college years were spent playing baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and making life-long friends. Now, my wife and I live in Central Indiana with our golden retriever, Luna. We spend our time working, exercising, dog training, playing intramural sports, and generally enjoying the beautiful life we live.
