tNGE Trial 147

It's gonna be a hot one this week. I'm a day late because I spend the whole weekend sanding a dresser so I didn't have to do it in a sauna this week. Unfortunately we chose a terrible stain, so I have to sand some parts again... we're gonna go with paint this time.

The heat can be dangerous and you should do everything to stay safe, but you also don't have to avoid the sun for a week. A little sweat is good for you. The worst thing you can do is hide all week and then spend the 4th at the grill all day and get burnt. Acute burns are really what you want to avoid when it comes to skin cancer. Or so I hear. Who knows.

Howdy. My name is Nick. I am on a mission to be the man my dog thinks I am and leave the world better than I found it. There's only one problem - nobody knows all the answers... and nobody ever will. But, we can all do our best to figure them out along the way. My hope in sharing my journey is to accelerate learning for us all so we can make the most of the precious time we have on this Earth.

I grew up in Central Illinois with my now wife surrounded by a loving family and a role model brother. My college years were spent playing baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and making life-long friends. Now, my wife and I live in Central Indiana with our golden retriever, Luna. We spend our time working, exercising, dog training, playing intramural sports, and generally enjoying the beautiful life we live.
